On the 20th October 2016, a group of Witton Park Academy pupils took part in the nationwide Shakespeare Schools Festival, performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Thwaites Theatre, Blackburn.
After two months of rehearsals the students did an amazing job of telling the story in a magical way using umbrellas.
The festival’s director described the performance as;
‘.. a professional , seamless and slick magical performance. An outstanding achievement’.
Well done to all.
